  • Why Should I Take IELTS?
    IELTS is widely available and globally accepted. To find your closest test centre, please click here IELTS is trusted by individuals and organisations around the world for its fairness, reliability and high-quality standards. IELTS offers test takers a choice to take the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections of the test on computer or paper IELTS is the only English language test where the Speaking test is a one-on-one session with an examiner in a private room, where you will not be interrupted by other test takers. IELTS results are available in 5-7 days (computer-delivered) and 13 days (paper-based) There is no pass or fail in IELTS. The score you need is determined by the organization you are applying to.
  • Who accepts IELTS?
    Due to its high-quality controls, IELTS is accepted for study, employment and migration by governments in more countries than any other English language test. Currently accepted by more than 10,000 organizations in over 140 countries, choosing IELTS gives you more options for the future. We understand how important IELTS is to your immigration future, and we are here to help you every step of the way. If you are applying to live or work in Canada – you will also need to check what IELTS scores you need in each part of the test in order to meet Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) requirements.   • Academic or General Training- which test is for me?
    IELTS is available in two versions: Academicand General Training. The Academic Test is suited for people applying for higher education or professional registration. The General Training test is for those migrating to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK, or applying for secondary education, training programmes and work experience in an English-speaking environment. Please check with the organization that has requested IELTSto confirm which version and what scores you need.
  • Should I take the computer delivered or paper based IELTS exam?

  • How do I get my results?
    IELTS test results are released 13 calendar days after the test and unofficial results can be viewed online. Regular postage is free of charge; however charges for courier services and/or overseas postage will be passed onto candidates. A candidate may request up to five (5) additional TRFs to be sent to Receiving Institutions (universities, professional bodies, etc) within two (2) years of taking the IELTS test. An order for more than five (5) TRFs will be subject to additional fees. One copy will be issued to candidates unless they are applying to Citizenship & Immigration Canada or UK Visas & Immigration – in these cases, they can receive two. Proof of application to CIC & UKVI must be provided. Up to five copies can be sent to RO’s at no extra charge, if they are detailed on the Application Form. Centres, however, can charge candidates for international postage and/or courier costs. Candidates can request additional copies to be sent to RO’s at any time within two years from the test date. Centres may charge an administrative fee and for international postage and/or courier costs. NOTE: Test Centres are NOT permitted to give test results over the telephone, via fax or e-mail to the candidate.
